For the first generation of Ajax control panels. Lets a Hub, Hub Plus or ReX run on a 12 volt battery instead of the mains.
The 12V PSU replaces the standard 110/230 V board in the enclosure of the Hub, Hub Plus or the ReX signal extender. This way your security system travels with you: insert a SIM card or connect the hub to the network and power it from a 12 volt battery. Useful for a boat, caravan or holiday home. For the newer Hub 2 generation, see the 12-24V PSU (type A).

How the installation works
The 12V PSU takes the place of the standard 110/230 V power supply in the enclosure of the Hub, Hub Plus or ReX. The module has a connector for the power cable and is supplied with a connection adapter. An installer can swap the board in a few minutes; have the work carried out by a qualified electrician.
