Audible and visible alarm
An alarm must be heard and seen. The AirShield sirens give a loud warning and a light signal when something is wrong: a compact indoor siren, a bright outdoor siren (IP65) that provides visible deterrence, or an intercom siren that lets you speak via the app. All three work wirelessly on 868 MHz and pair with the same AirShield hub.

Deter and warn
A siren completes your alarm: an intruder is deterred and you and the surrounding area are warned immediately. The AirShield sirens combine a loud sound with a light signal, work wirelessly on 868 MHz with two-way communication and AES128, and pair with the same AirShield hub. In the event of an alarm you also receive a notification in the free DMSS app.
Which siren do you need?
Indoor Siren
A compact indoor siren of up to 84 dB with three volume settings. The affordable basis for a clearly audible alarm indoors.
Outdoor Siren
A bright outdoor siren of up to 110 dB with a bright flashing LED light as a visual alarm. Weather-resistant (IP65) and the strongest visible deterrent on the façade.
Intercom Siren
An indoor siren of up to 100 dB with two-way audio and a panic button. Speak directly via the app or the alarm receiving centre with whoever is on site.

Do I need a siren with my alarm?
A siren makes the alarm audible and visible, which deters and warns. At least an indoor siren is recommended; an outdoor siren adds visible deterrence on the façade.
What is the difference between the Indoor, Outdoor and Intercom Siren?
The Indoor Siren is a compact indoor siren (up to 84 dB). The Outdoor Siren is a weatherproof outdoor siren (up to 110 dB) with a light alarm. The Intercom Siren is an indoor siren (up to 100 dB) with two-way audio and a panic button.
Do the sirens work wirelessly?
Yes. They pair wirelessly with the AirShield hub on 868 MHz with two-way communication and AES128. The Indoor runs on batteries; the Outdoor and Intercom can be powered by batteries or by 9 to 15 VDC.
Can I combine multiple sirens?
Yes. A popular set-up is an Outdoor Siren on the façade for deterrence and an Indoor or Intercom Siren inside for a clear warning.
What can I do with the intercom siren?
With the Intercom Siren you speak directly with someone on site via the DMSS or DoLynk Care app. An alarm receiving centre can also use the intercom to make contact.
Do I need a Hub?
Yes. The sirens report to the wireless AirShield hub from Dahua. Do you not have a system yet? Put one together with the configurator or have it installed by our technicians.
