AirShield Outdoor Siren: audible and visible alarm outdoors
When an alarm is triggered, the AirShield Outdoor Siren makes it immediately clear that something is wrong: a powerful sound up to 110 dB plus a bright flashing light alarm. This deters intruders, warns the neighbourhood and draws attention, day and night.
The outdoor siren (Dahua DHI-ARA13-W2(868)) is built for outdoor use with an IP65 housing and operates from -25 to +60 degrees. Pair it wirelessly with your AirShield hub on 868 MHz, on batteries or on 12 VDC.
Why the AirShield Outdoor Siren
Powerful alarm up to 110 dB
Up to 110 dB(A) at 1 metre, with different alarm sounds for fire, medical, burglary and panic, so you can tell what the alarm is about.
Bright light alarm
A bright flashing LED light makes the alarm clearly visible during the day as well. This lets those nearby see immediately where it is coming from.
Weather-resistant (IP65)
An IP65 housing against rain and dust, operating from -25 to +60 degrees. With two-way communication on 868 MHz, AES128 and tamper detection.
Battery or 12 volt
Powered by 4 CR123A batteries or 9 to 15 VDC, with a low battery notification and battery status displayed.

Which siren suits you?
An Outdoor Siren is mounted outside and deters visibly and audibly. Indoors, you can choose the compact Indoor Siren or the Intercom Siren, which adds two-way audio and a panic button. Many people combine two: a loud one outside and one inside.

All three work wirelessly on 868 MHz with two-way communication and AES128, and pair with the AirShield hub. The Outdoor and Intercom can also be powered at 9 to 15 VDC.

When an alarm is triggered, you hear the siren and immediately receive a push notification on your phone. In the free Dahua DMSS app you can see the status and manage your system. No subscription, on iPhone and Android.

This siren works with the wireless AirShield hub from Dahua. Put your system together with the configurator, or have everything installed by our VEB-approved installers.

Is the Outdoor Siren suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. The IP65 housing is resistant to rain and dust and the siren operates from -25 to +60 degrees, so it is suitable for all seasons.
How loud and visible is it?
Up to 110 dB(A) at 1 metre, with a bright flashing LED light as well. The alarm is both clearly audible and clearly visible.
How is the siren powered?
Via 4 CR123A batteries or a fixed 9 to 15 VDC connection (12 VDC). You will receive a notification as soon as the battery is almost empty.
Do I also need an indoor siren?
An outdoor siren mainly acts as a deterrent. For a clear warning indoors, combine it with an Indoor Siren or Intercom Siren.
