Ajax Socket: smart plug
The Ajax Socket is a smart plug that you do not need to install: plug it into the wall socket, pair it with the hub within a few seconds and you control the power supply of the connected appliance.
Switch manually in the app or via a scenario. An LED ring shows in colour how much the appliance consumes: the closer to purple, the higher the consumption. Available in white and black.
What the Socket does
No installation
Plug it in, pair it and you are done. No wiring and no flush mounting: within a few seconds you control the connected appliance.
Consumption in colour
An LED indicator shows the current consumption. The more it shifts towards purple, the higher the consumption, so you can see at a glance how much power an appliance draws.
Overload protection
At a load above 3 kW, the protection trips and the power is cut.
Manually or via a scenario
Switch the Socket in the Ajax app, or have it follow a schedule or event.
Relay, WallSwitch or Socket?
Three ways to switch power with Ajax. If you want to simply switch a 230 V appliance on and off with consumption insight, the WallSwitch is usually the most convenient choice. If you need a free, potential-free contact (also for DC or separate circuits), choose the Relay.
