Ajax HomeSiren: a loud indoor alarm, exactly where you can hear it
A compact wireless siren that sounds a loud alarm indoors as soon as a detector registers something. This warns you immediately in the house and deters an intruder.
You mount the HomeSiren in a clearly audible spot in your home or office. You set the volume from 80 to 100 dB and the alarm duration from 3 seconds to 3 minutes, all in the Ajax app. Useful: there is a connection for an external LED, so you can show outside that the system is armed.

Choose a clearly audible spot indoors, for example in the hallway or on the landing. Mount the HomeSiren using the supplied SmartBracket and use the supplied screws and wall plugs. The batteries are already installed, so you pair the siren with your hub with one click in the Ajax app. In the app you set the volume, the alarm duration and the call function.

Is the HomeSiren suitable for outdoor use?
No. The HomeSiren is rated IP50 and is intended for indoor use only. For outdoors, choose the StreetSiren or StreetSiren DoubleDeck.
How loud is the siren?
You set the volume from 80 to 100 dB at 1 metre; by default it is set to 93 dB. You set it in the Ajax app.
Can I see that the system is armed?
Yes. The HomeSiren has a connection for an external LED, which you can place outdoors or by the front door, for example, to make the system status visible.
Are the batteries supplied?
Yes. The two CR123A batteries come pre-installed. Ajax states up to five years, but that applies to minimal use: the more often and the louder the siren sounds, the shorter they last. The app warns you well in advance when replacement is needed.
Is the installation complicated?
No. You pair the siren with the hub with one click in the app and mount it on the supplied SmartBracket within a few minutes.
