Dahua HDW3649QM-S-IL-Bl Black 6MP Smart Dual Light Eyeball 2.8mm lens
Looking for an affordable, reliable and powerful security camera that performs in every situation? The Dahua HDW3649QM-S-IL-Bl delivers razor-sharp 6MP images with vivid colours, even in the dark. Thanks to Smart Dual Light technology, the camera switches intelligently between unobtrusive infrared and bright white light, so that events are always clearly captured.
What this camera does
This compact eyeball camera combines high image quality with smart functions that add real value. Full-colour imaging in low light, efficient H.265+ compression and a weatherproof IP67 housing make it suitable for almost any location, indoors and outdoors. With the fixed 2.8 mm wide-angle lens, you can easily keep a wide area under observation. And thanks to PoE power, everything runs through a single network cable: quick to install, neatly finished and very reliable.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card up to 256 GB fits in the camera. Handy for a single camera. If you want to look back further or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
