What this camera does
The HDBW2441E-S combines high image quality with ease of use. Thanks to the 4MP resolution at up to 20fps, you recognise faces, number plates and important details faster. Smart detection with classification for people and vehicles reduces false alarms, so you are only alerted when it matters. The fixed 2.8 mm wide-angle lens gives a broad view of your premises, shop or driveway. With PoE power, power and data run through a single network cable: quick to install, immediately operational. And do you want to record locally? Simply insert a MicroSD card of up to 256GB. This Dahua security camera offers value, reliability and convenience in one compact, robust dome.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card up to 256 GB fits in the camera. Handy for a single camera. If you want to look back further or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and IK10 and is therefore made for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and feed the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
