The Dahua HDW3849H-ZAS-PV delivers 8MP 4K detail, 24/7 colour images and active deterrence with a red/blue alarm light and a powerful siren. Thanks to WizSense AI, the camera recognises people and vehicles, you receive instant notifications on your phone and you can talk in both directions. Reliable, clear and ready for quick installation with PoE: this is TiOC 3.0 at its best.
What this camera does
This TiOC 3.0 “Three-in-One” camera combines Full-Color Starlight, smart detection and active deterrence. The motorised zoom lens (2,7-13,5 mm) with autofocus zooms smoothly from a wide overview to a sharp close-up. Smart Dual Light provides discreet infrared in the dark and switches to warm white light only when an event occurs, so you always have usable evidence in colour. The WizSense AI algorithm filters out noise and focuses on what matters: people and vehicles. This means you receive fewer false alerts and can act faster. With the red/blue alarm light, a siren of up to 110 dB and custom audio recordings, you scare off intruders. With 2-way audio, responding immediately is very simple. Thanks to H.265+, you save storage and bandwidth without loss of quality. The robust, weatherproof IP67 housing and True WDR ensure reliable performance, even in backlight and bad weather. Easily arm and disarm the alarm system via the DMSS app.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 512 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage over a longer period or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
