What this camera does
The Dahua HDW2241T-S combines quality and convenience in a single compact design. With Smart Motion Detection and AI perimeter protection, the camera identifies people and vehicles accurately, so you receive fewer false alerts. The 3.6 mm lens gives a wide field of view, suitable for an entrance, driveway or warehouse. With IR night vision you can see sharp details even in complete darkness. You can store footage securely on a micro-SD card of up to 256 GB or simply connect the camera to an NVR.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card up to 256 GB fits in the camera. Handy for a single camera. If you want to look back further or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
