Dahua HDW3649T-ZS-IL 6MP WizSense Smart Dual Light Eyeball 2.7-13.5mm motorised zoom lens
The Dahua HDW3649T-ZS-IL delivers razor-sharp 6MP images, smart illumination and strong AI functions in a single compact eyeball housing. Thanks to the motorised zoom lens, you can easily capture both the wide overview and fine detail, while Smart Dual Light technology automatically chooses between discreet infrared and visible white light for clear footage in any situation.
What this camera does
This WizSense IP camera combines strong performance with a sharp price. AI-driven detection recognises people and vehicles, so that false alerts are kept to a minimum. Starlight provides clear images in low light, while H.265 compression saves storage and bandwidth. The weatherproof IP67 design makes it suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.
- 6MP resolution (3288 × 1850) at 25/30 fps for crystal-clear detail, suitable for evidential footage.
- 2.7-13,5 mm motorised zoom lens with autofocus: from a wide overview to a sharp close-up in a few seconds.
- Smart Dual Light: automatic switching between IR and white light, with a range of up to 60 metres.
- WizSense AI: perimeter protection with accurate detection and classification of people and vehicles for fewer false alarms.
- Starlight technology: excellent low-light performance for clear, usable images.
- Efficient H.265 compression: lower bandwidth and less storage without visible loss of quality.
- Wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D noise reduction for a crisp image in backlight and at night.
- Weatherproof IP67 design: reliable operation in rain, wind and dust, all year round.
- Extensive compatibility: support for ONVIF profiles S, G and T for seamless integration.
- Power and data over a single cable with PoE (802.3af) for quick, tidy installation.
- Remote access via app and browser for live viewing, playback and settings.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
