Dahua HDBW71242E1-Z-X ePoE 12MP D/N IR Deeplight WDR Dome 2.7-12mm Motorised Zoom Lens
The Dahua HDBW71242E1-Z-X is the reliable, affordable and complete dome camera for anyone who wants certainty, day and night. With its 12MP resolution it delivers razor-sharp, colourful images thanks to Full-Color Deeplight, even when it is dark all around. The smart WizMind AI recognises people and vehicles with great accuracy and sends instant notifications to the app for quick alarm verification. The motorised zoom lens (2.7-12 mm) zooms smoothly in and out, so you have both a wide overview and a clear close-up.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 512 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage over a longer period or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
