Dahua HDW3449QM-S-IL 4MP WizSense Smart Dual Light Eyeball 2.8mm lens
Make your site, shop or driveway safer straight away with this 4MP security camera. The Dahua HDW3449QM-S-IL delivers razor-sharp images, even in the dark. Thanks to Smart Dual Light, the camera switches intelligently between invisible infrared and warm white light. This way you always get clear colour images as soon as a person or vehicle comes into view.
What this camera does
The Dahua HDW3449QM-S-IL combines top-quality images with smart detection. The 2.8 mm wide-angle lens gives a broad overview, while the Starlight sensor draws more detail from low light. WizSense AI recognises people and vehicles and ignores noise such as leaves or rain. Perimeter protection with tripwire and area monitoring ensures that you only receive alerts when it matters. With PoE power, a built-in microphone and local storage up to 512 GB, this is a complete, future-proof solution for indoor and outdoor use.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 512 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage over a longer period or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
