The AirShield PIR is a wireless PIR motion detector for reliable indoor detection in homes and small businesses. Easy to install, with pet immunity and smart filtering that limits false alerts. An affordable and solid basis for your alarm system.
The AirShield PIR detects movement using passive infrared technology up to 12 m, with a viewing angle of approx. 90 degrees. Two-way communication on 868 MHz with frequency hopping and AES128 keeps the connection stable and secure. You choose white or black yourself.

Which indoor detector suits you?
If you want to detect movement in a room, choose a PIR, Dual-Tech or PIR-Cam. If you mainly want to protect windows and display cabinets, the Glass Break, which recognises breaking glass, is the right choice.

All four work wirelessly on 868 MHz with two-way communication and AES128 encryption, and pair with the same AirShield hub. The recommended mounting height for the motion detectors is approximately 2.2 m.

An immediate notification in the DMSS app
As soon as a detector is triggered, the AirShield hub sends a push notification to your phone. In the free Dahua DMSS app you can see which detector was triggered and in which room, and you can arm and disarm your system. No subscription, on iPhone and Android.

Yes, this detector is intended for indoor mounting in homes and light commercial spaces. The recommended height is approx. 2.2 m.
What is the detection range?
Up to about 12 m with a viewing angle of approx. 90 degrees when mounted at 2.2 m. Use the walk test for the best coverage.
Will the detector react to my pet?
Pet immunity helps limit false alarms caused by small pets, but is not a guarantee. Whether it works depends on the weight (up to approximately 18 kg), the size and the behaviour of the animal and especially on the mounting height and location. Mount at approximately 2.2 m and do not aim the detector downwards; large, jumping or climbing animals can still trigger an alert.
