AirShield 4G Hub 2: the wireless alarm hub from the AirShield series
The AirShield 4G Hub 2 is the brain of your AirShield alarm system: a smart Dahua hub (Dahua ARC3800H-FW2(868)) that monitors all your wireless detectors. With Wi-Fi, LAN and 4G backup, you stay connected at all times.
The hub combines a long range with encrypted two-way communication, video verification via IP cameras and a backup battery. You choose white or black.
Why the AirShield 4G Hub 2
Always connected
Connect via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and keep 4G in reserve. If your internet connection drops, the hub switches to the mobile network so that you keep receiving notifications.
Encrypted and tamper-resistant
Wireless two-way communication on 868 MHz with AES128 encryption and frequency hopping. The Hub and detectors notice tampering and faults and warn you immediately.
Video verification
See what is happening straight away when an alarm is triggered. PIR-Cam detectors take photos and you can connect up to 8 IP cameras. The hub itself stores short alarm clips (in-hub pre-recording), even without an SD card in the camera.
Keeps working during an outage
A built-in backup battery keeps the system active for up to 12 hours during a power failure, and 4G takes over if the internet connection drops.

Connect up to 150 wireless devices. Up to 6 sirens (of which 4 intercom sirens), 6 repeaters, 8 keypads, 64 keyfobs and 64 PIR-Cams. Start small and expand later with additional detectors, sirens or cameras.

Which AirShield suits you?

Frequently asked questions
Does AirShield work without a subscription?
Yes. You operate and manage the system free of charge in the Dahua DMSS app, with no mandatory subscription. You only need a separate service if you want 24-hour monitoring by an alarm receiving centre.
What happens in the event of a power or internet failure?
The built-in backup battery keeps the hub running for up to 12 hours during a power failure, and if the internet connection fails the hub switches to 4G. Your alerts will therefore continue to come through.
How does video verification work?
In two ways. PIR-Cam detectors take photos when an alarm is triggered, and you can connect up to 8 IP cameras (such as Dahua) for live images. Thanks to in-hub pre-recording, the hub itself stores short clips around an alarm, even without an SD card in the camera. For continuous recording, an SD card or NVR is still required.
Can I expand the system later?
Yes. You can connect up to 150 wireless devices. Up to 6 sirens (of which 4 intercom sirens), 6 repeaters, 8 keypads, 64 keyfobs and 64 PIR-Cams. You are welcome to add extra detectors, sirens or cameras later.
Are detectors included with this hub?
No, this is the standalone AirShield hub, intended as a base for building a system around it yourself. If you want to start straight away, choose a complete kit or put together your own set.
