The AirShield 4G Hub 2 Kit (PIR-Cam) is a complete wireless alarm system from Dahua AirShield: a smart hub with detectors included, ready to be put into use within an hour. You operate everything in the DMSS app and can easily expand later.
The system runs on the reliable AirShield hub with encrypted communication on 868 MHz. Thanks to the 4G backup, you remain protected if the internet connection fails, and with video verification you can see immediately what is happening when an alert is raised. You choose white or black yourself.
What the AirShield 4G Hub 2 Kit (PIR-Cam) offers
Complete starter package
This set contains an AirShield 4G hub, a wireless magnetic contact, a PIR-Cam and a keyfob. Everything is matched to one another and quick to enrol, so that you have a working alarm system within an hour.
PIR-Cam takes photos on alarm
The supplied PIR-Cam detects movement up to 12 metres across 90 degrees and takes photos immediately when an alarm is triggered. This lets you see in the app whether it is a false alarm or a genuine one. Pet-friendly up to 18 kg.
Operate at the press of a button
With the supplied key fob you arm and disarm from the front door, with a separate panic button (SOS) for emergencies. Operating via the app or a schedule is of course also possible.
Video verification
See straight away what is happening when an alarm goes off. The supplied PIR-Cam takes photos, and you can link up to 8 IP cameras for live video. The hub itself stores short alarm clips, even without an SD card in the camera.
Keeps working during an outage
The hub has a backup battery (up to 12 hours) and 4G backup, so you stay protected during both power and internet outages.
Easy to expand later
Expand the set to 150 wireless devices. Up to 6 sirens (of which 4 intercom sirens), 6 repeaters, 8 keypads, 64 key fobs and 64 PIR-Cams.

Frequently asked questions
Does AirShield work without a subscription?
Yes. You operate and manage the system free of charge in the Dahua DMSS app, with no mandatory subscription. You only need a separate service if you want 24-hour monitoring by an alarm receiving centre.
What happens in the event of a power or internet failure?
The built-in backup battery keeps the hub running for up to 12 hours during a power failure, and if the internet connection fails the hub switches to 4G. Your alerts will therefore continue to come through.
How does video verification work?
In two ways. The PIR-Cam supplied takes photos when an alarm is triggered, and you can connect up to 8 IP cameras (such as Dahua) for live video. Thanks to in-hub pre-recording, the hub itself stores short clips around an alarm, even without an SD card in the camera. For continuous recording, an SD card or NVR is still required.
Can I expand the system later?
Yes. You can connect up to 150 wireless devices. Up to 6 sirens (of which 4 intercom sirens), 6 repeaters, 8 keypads, 64 keyfobs and 64 PIR-Cams. You are welcome to add extra detectors, sirens or cameras later.
