AirShield PIR-Cam: keeps an eye on movement, with images
The AirShield PIR-Cam is a wireless motion detector with a built-in camera. As soon as it detects movement, it takes HD photos directly and sends them to your hub, the app and, if set up, the alarm receiving centre. This lets you see immediately what is happening and whether something is really wrong.
The AirShield PIR-Cam combines a PIR motion detector with visual verification: up to 6 photos (1600 × 1200) in approximately 10 seconds via fast RF-HD transmission, also at night thanks to built-in infrared lighting. You choose white or black yourself.
Why the AirShield PIR-Cam
Images with every alarm
On detecting movement, the detector takes up to 6 HD photos (1600 × 1200) and sends them within about 10 seconds. You can see at once whether it is a false alarm or not.
Motion up to 12 m
Passive infrared detection with a viewing angle of approximately 86 degrees and three sensitivity levels. Pet immunity helps limit alerts caused by small pets (up to approximately 18 kg), depending on placement.
Clear in the dark as well
Built-in infrared lighting provides visibility up to approximately 12 m, so that you also get sharp photos at night.
Secure and able to look back
Two-way communication on 868 MHz with AES128 and frequency hopping. The hub stores images in the cloud for approximately one week so that you can review them.

Which indoor detector suits you?
If you want to detect movement in a room, choose a PIR, Dual-Tech or PIR-Cam. If you mainly want to protect windows and display cabinets, the Glass Break, which recognises breaking glass, is the right choice.

All four work wirelessly on 868 MHz with two-way communication and AES128 encryption, and pair with the same AirShield hub. The recommended mounting height for the motion detectors is approximately 2.2 m.
Notifications and expansion
An immediate notification in the DMSS app
As soon as a detector is triggered, the AirShield hub sends a push notification to your phone. In the free Dahua DMSS app you can see which detector was triggered and in which room, and you can arm and disarm your system. No subscription, on iPhone and Android.

How quickly do I get images on an alarm?
Up to 6 HD photos (1600 × 1200) in approximately 10 seconds, via fast RF HD transmission. This lets you see immediately what the detector has picked up.
Does the camera also work in the dark?
Yes. Built-in infrared lighting gives visibility up to approximately 12 m, so you also get clear photos at night.
Will it respond to my pet?
Pet immunity helps limit false alarms caused by small pets, but is not a guarantee. Whether it works depends on the weight (up to approximately 18 kg), the size and the behaviour of the animal and especially on the mounting height and location. Mount at approximately 2.2 m and do not aim the detector downwards; large, jumping or climbing animals can still trigger an alert.
