AirShield Smart Plug: switch an appliance smartly
The AirShield Smart Plug is the simplest way to switch a device wirelessly from your AirShield system. You plug it in between the socket and your device, and that is all. No installation or cabling required.
This smart plug-in adapter (Dahua DHI-ICS1-W2(868)) switches up to 16 A and measures voltage, current and temperature at the same time. A clear LED indicator shows whether the circuit is open or closed, with built-in protection for safe use.
Why the AirShield Smart Plug
No installation
Plug it in between the socket and the device and switch wirelessly straight away. Ideal for a lamp, fan or other device that you want to control remotely.
Measures too
The plug measures voltage, current and temperature, so you know that your appliance is switched on and operating within safe limits.
Safe switching
Protection against overcurrent, overvoltage and overheating, with an LED indicator: flashing green when pairing, constant green when the circuit is closed.
Stable and encrypted
Two-way RF communication on 868 MHz with AES128 and frequency hopping, with a range of up to approximately 1,600 metres in open terrain.

Which switch do you need?
Do you want to control something from your AirShield system? The 7-24 VDC Relay switches low voltage, such as a gate or lighting. The 100-240VAC Relay switches mains voltage in a fixed flush-mounted installation and measures consumption at the same time. The Smart Plug is the simplest: you plug it in between the socket and the appliance.

You pair and manage this extension in the free Dahua DMSS app. There you can see the status, change settings and receive notifications on your phone. No subscription required, on iPhone and Android.

This extension works with the wireless AirShield hub from Dahua. Put your system together with the configurator, or have everything installed by our VEB-approved installers.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. You plug the Smart Plug into a socket and your device into the plug. You then pair it in the app and can switch wirelessly.
What is the difference from the relays?
The Smart Plug is a standalone plug-in adapter that needs no installation. The 100-240VAC Relay and 7-24 VDC Relay are built in, for example for lighting or a gate.
How much can the plug switch?
Up to 16 A at 100 to 240 VAC. Take the maximum power of your appliance into account.
Can I see the consumption?
Yes. The plug measures voltage, current and temperature, so you keep track of usage and safety.
