A protective hood that shields your outdoor detector from heavy rain and snow. This prevents false anti-masking alerts in severe weather, without you having to remove the detector.
The anti-masking sensors of an Ajax outdoor detector react to the lens being covered. In persistent heavy rain or snow, this can trigger a false alert. The Ajax Hood keeps the worst of the weather off the lens and so keeps your alerts reliable. The mounting materials are included and you clip it onto the detector without removing it from the bracket.
