Dahua HDW3849H-ZAS-PV-PRO 8MP WizSense TiOC PRO Eyeball 2.7-12mm
The Dahua HDW3849H-ZAS-PV-PRO 8MP WizSense TiOC PRO Eyeball combines razor-sharp images with smart deterrence. The motorised zoom lens lets you zoom in directly on details, while Smart Dual Light provides a clear colour image in the dark.
What this camera does
With 8MP 4K resolution, you capture every detail, day and night. The motorised varifocal lens (2.7-12 mm) gives you the freedom to frame the image perfectly, from a wide overview to a close-up. TiOC PRO technology combines detection, light and sound in one camera: when it detects movement, the camera switches to warm supplementary light and can deter intruders with a clear warning. The advanced AI (WizSense with SMD 4.0) recognises people and vehicles, so you receive fewer false alerts and can act faster. Thanks to H.265 and AI coding, you save considerably on storage and bandwidth without compromising on quality. The sturdy IP67 housing and PoE+ make installation quick and reliable, even in harsh outdoor conditions.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 512 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage over a longer period or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
