6V PSU: your Hub 2 on a 6 or 12 volt source
Do you want to power a Hub 2 or Hub 2 Plus from a battery instead of the mains? The Ajax 6V PSU makes this possible with a wide input of 4.2 to 16 volts.
The 6V PSU (type A) replaces the standard 110/230 V board in the housing of the Hub 2 or Hub 2 Plus. This allows the hub to run for years on an external 6 or 12 volt battery, without a connection to the mains. Useful for building sites, vacant properties, holiday homes, boats and campers. If you want a wider input up to 32 V, see the 12-24V PSU (type A).

How the installation works
The 6V PSU takes the place of the standard 110/230 V power supply in the housing of the Hub 2 or Hub 2 Plus. The module has a connection for the power cable and is supplied with a connection adapter. An installer swaps the board in a few minutes; have the work carried out by a qualified electrician.

Frequently asked questions
Which hubs work with the 6V PSU?
The Hub 2 and the Hub 2 Plus. For the older Hub, Hub Plus and ReX, you use the separate 12V PSU for that generation.
Can the hub run on a battery?
Yes. With a 6 or 12 volt battery as the source, the hub runs for years without a connection to the mains.
Does the warranty remain valid?
Yes, this is an official Ajax module and not a modification. The CE certification and manufacturer's warranty remain valid.
What is the difference from the 12-24V PSU?
The 6V PSU has an input of 4.2-16 V; the 12-24V PSU (type A) goes up to 32 V and also covers the ReX 2.
