AirShield Hub 2 Kit: the complete wireless alarm system from the AirShield series
The AirShield Hub 2 Kit is a complete wireless alarm system from Dahua AirShield: a smart hub with detectors, ready to put into use within an hour. You control everything in the DMSS app and expand easily later.
The system runs on the reliable AirShield hub with encrypted communication on 868 MHz. The backup battery keeps everything running during a power cut, and with video verification you see straight away what is happening when an alert comes in. You choose white or black.
What the AirShield Hub 2 Kit offers
Complete starter package
This set contains an AirShield hub, a wireless magnetic contact, a pet-friendly motion detector and a keyfob. Everything is matched and quick to enrol, so you have a working alarm system within an hour.
Motion and door/window monitored
The pet-friendly motion detector covers up to 12 metres over 90 degrees (pets up to 18 kg), and the magnetic contact reports as soon as a door or window opens. Together they cover the most vulnerable spots.
Operate at the press of a button
With the supplied key fob you arm and disarm from the front door, with a separate panic button (SOS) for emergencies. Operating via the app or a schedule is of course also possible.
Video verification
See straight away what is happening when an alarm is triggered. PIR-Cam detectors take photos, and you can connect up to 8 IP cameras for live images. The hub itself stores short alarm clips, even without an SD card in the camera.
Keeps working during an outage
The hub has a built-in backup battery that keeps the system active for up to 12 hours during a power cut.
Easy to expand later
Expand the set to 150 wireless devices. Up to 6 sirens (of which 4 intercom sirens), 6 repeaters, 8 keypads, 64 key fobs and 64 PIR-Cams.

Frequently asked questions
Does AirShield work without a subscription?
Yes. You operate and manage the system free of charge in the Dahua DMSS app, with no mandatory subscription. You only need a separate service if you want 24-hour monitoring by an alarm receiving centre.
What happens in the event of a power or internet failure?
The built-in backup battery keeps the hub active for up to 12 hours during a power cut. If you also want to keep working during an internet outage, choose a model with 4G backup.
How does video verification work?
In two ways. PIR-Cam detectors take photos when an alarm is triggered, and you can connect up to 8 IP cameras (such as Dahua) for live images. Thanks to in-hub pre-recording, the hub itself stores short clips around an alarm, even without an SD card in the camera. For continuous recording, an SD card or NVR is still required.
