AirShield 7-24 VDC Relay: switch low voltage wirelessly
With the AirShield 7-24 VDC Relay, you switch low voltage wirelessly from your AirShield system. Think of a gate, lighting or another device that you want to switch on or off remotely, without extra wiring to a switch.
This compact module switches via a relay (NO or NC) up to 5 A and has its own tamper input. The connection runs wirelessly on 868 MHz with two-way confirmation, so that a switching command actually arrives.
Why the AirShield 7-24 VDC Relay
Wireless switching
A relay output (NO or NC) up to 5 A for low voltage, for example a gate or lighting. You control it from your AirShield system.
Safe to use
Built-in overheating protection and voltage detection, plus a dedicated tamper input that reports when someone interferes with the installation.
Stable and encrypted
Two-way communication on 868 MHz with AES128, frequency hopping and jamming detection, with a range of up to approximately 1,200 metres in open terrain.
Compact and practical
Small size (39 × 33 × 19 mm) for neat wall mounting, with a status indicator and a test mode for a reliable installation.

Which switch do you need?
Do you want to control something from your AirShield system? The 7-24 VDC Relay switches low voltage, such as a gate or lighting. The 100-240VAC Relay switches mains voltage in a fixed flush-mounted installation and measures consumption at the same time. The Smart Plug is the simplest: you plug it in between the socket and the appliance.
| Model | Switches | Max load | Measuring | Mounting | Ideal for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7-24 VDC Relay | Low voltage 7-24 VDC | Up to 5 A | No | Built-in or wall-mounted | Gate, lighting, low voltage |
| 100-240VAC Relay | Mains voltage 100-240 VAC | Up to 13 A | Voltage, current, consumption | Built-in or wall-mounted | Fixed switching (flush-mounted) |
| Smart Plug | Mains voltage (socket) | Up to 16 A | Voltage, current, temperature | Plug (plug-in) | Switch a device smartly in no time |
All three switch wirelessly on 868 MHz with two-way communication and AES128, and work with the AirShield hub. The 100-240VAC Relay and the Smart Plug also measure energy consumption.

Frequently asked questions
What can I switch with this?
Low voltage devices of 7 to 24 VDC, such as a gate opener or lighting. The relay can switch up to 5 A (0 to 36 VDC).
What is the difference from the 100-240VAC Relay?
This one switches low voltage (VDC). The 100-240VAC Relay switches mains voltage and measures consumption at the same time. For a single device on a socket, the Smart Plug is the most convenient.
Is it safe?
Yes. The module has overheating protection, voltage detection and a tamper input. Do connect it according to the manual.
Do I need a hub for this?
Yes. The relay switches on command from your AirShield system and connects wirelessly to the AirShield hub.
