Surface-mount housing with rain cover for the VTO2211G
The housing that mounts the VTO2211G on the wall, with a cover above it to keep off the rain. On an outside facade, that is the difference between a unit that lasts for years and a unit that lets water in.
The housing is made for this door station; it does not fit another type. If the unit is mounted in the wall instead of on it, you do not need it.

Sealing during installation
Seal the edges with silicone sealant during installation. If you do not, rainwater runs behind the housing and still reaches the cabling.

Frequently asked questions
Do I really need this cover?
On an unsheltered facade, yes. If the unit is under a canopy or in a porch, it can do without, but the cover also protects against sun on the screen and on the camera lens.
Does this also fit another door station?
No, this housing is made for the VTO2211G. If you are in doubt, please send us your model type and we will find the right one.
Can the station also be installed in the wall with this?
No. This is the surface-mount version. For flush mounting there is a separate mounting box.
Is the door station included?
No, this is the housing only. The station must be ordered separately.
