Secure your property more smartly and sharply with the Dahua HDW3849H-AS-PV-PRO. This 4K Eyeball camera delivers a clear image, day and night, and responds immediately to trouble. Thanks to Full-Color Starlight you get 24/7 colour detail, while red/blue alarm light and a powerful siren of up to 110 dB deter unwanted visitors. The WizSense AI algorithm recognises people and vehicles, so you only receive relevant notifications. Reliable, easy to operate via the DMSS app and ready for professional results in any environment.
What this camera does
With its 1/1.8” sensor and fixed 2,8 mm wide-angle lens, this TiOC PRO camera leaves nothing to chance. The image stays sharp in difficult lighting conditions and, on detection, automatically switches to smart white light for clear faces and licence plates in colour. You receive real-time notifications on your phone, can listen in live and talk via 2-way audio, and can easily switch the active deterrence on or off in the DMSS app. The robust IP67 housing and efficient H.265 compression make this a strong, affordable choice for home and business.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card up to 256 GB fits in the camera. Handy for a single camera. If you want to look back further or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
