Dahua HDW3849H-AS-PV-B Black 8MP TiOC 3.0 Eyeball 2.8mm Lens
Monitor what matters to you with the Dahua HDW3849H-AS-PV-B: a powerful 8MP (4K) security camera that delivers razor-sharp colour images day and night. Thanks to Full-Color Starlight, you can see details such as faces, number plates and clothing colours in the dark as well. The built-in red and blue alarm lights, the loud siren (up to 110 dB) and 2-way audio act as active deterrence, so you prevent problems instead of reviewing them afterwards.
What this camera does
This TiOC 3.0 Eyeball camera combines three things in one: clear 4K quality, smart detection and active prevention. The WizSense AI algorithm recognises people and vehicles and immediately sends a notification to the DMSS app. You verify the alarm in real time, speak to intruders via the built-in speaker or have your own sound recording played automatically. With one tap in the app, you can easily switch the alarm function on or off. The durable black housing (IP67) is made for outdoor and indoor use, while PoE keeps installation quick and neat.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card up to 256 GB fits in the camera. Handy for a single camera. If you want to look back further or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
