Dahua HDW3449T-ZS-IL 4MP WizSense Smart Dual Light Eyeball 2.7-13.5 mm motorised zoom lens
The Dahua HDW3449T-ZS-IL offers exactly that. The 4MP 1/2.9″ CMOS sensor delivers razor-sharp detail, while Smart Dual Light switches automatically between invisible infrared and warm white light. This gives you a clear image at all times, without overexposure or black patches. The motorised zoom lens lets you zoom in directly on what matters, without loss of quality. Add smart AI detection and efficient H.265+ storage, and you have a complete security solution for home or business that stands out for value and reliability.
What this camera does
With the varifocal motorised zoom lens (2.7-13.5 mm, F1.4) you can easily set the desired viewing angle: a wide overview or a close-up of an entrance or driveway. Smart Dual Light automatically selects the best illumination: discreet IR for inconspicuous night vision or warm white light to show colour detail when motion is detected. The AI-assisted SMD 4.0 and Perimeter Protection recognise people and vehicles and reduce false alarms, so you only receive alerts that matter. And thanks to H.265+ you save considerably on storage and bandwidth, without compromising image quality. The robust IP67 housing and PoE power make installation simple and durable. In short: a great many features at a very sharp price.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 512 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage over a longer period or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
