Ajax Sim: data connection for your Ajax Hub
Ajax's own SIM card, pre-installed in your Hub. It provides the mobile connection for your alarm system, so the Hub stays online if your fixed internet fails.
The Ajax Sim is a roaming SIM card with fair use and supports data only, no SMS. You receive notifications free of charge as push messages in the Ajax app.

Why not a prepaid SIM card?
Online you often read that prepaid is cheaper. In practice, this turns out differently.
Daily usage
An Ajax Hub sometimes uses between 100 and 150 MB per month: even on wifi or cable, it continuously checks whether it can switch to mobile.
Not made for M2M
Prepaid consumer cards are not designed for machine-to-machine traffic. Your data bundle may run out just when your system needs the connection most.

Prefer more freedom?
Our own M2M SIM card is cheaper (from 42 euros per year), optionally with Voice so the Hub can make outgoing calls, and you can take the card with you to another Hub if you ever replace it.
