Frequently asked questions
For which Ajax devices?
Ajax components with a 12 V terminal connection, such as StreetSiren and StreetSiren DoubleDeck, KeyPad TouchScreen, KeyPad Outdoor, Relay (7-24 V) and MotionProtect Outdoor (5-28 V). This way they run on a fixed power supply instead of (only) batteries. Always check the input range of your device.
1.5 A or 5 A?
1.5 A is for a single component. If you want to power several at the same time, choose the 5A version with 4 connections.
Install indoors or outdoors?
You install the adapter itself indoors in a flush-mounted or surface-mounted box; it can still power outdoor components.
