Dahua HDW3849H-ZAS-PV Black 8MP TiOC 3.0 Eyeball 2.7-13.5mm Motorised Zoom Lens
Make your security smarter, sharper and more visible straight away with the Dahua HDW3849H-ZAS-PV. This 8MP 4K surveillance camera combines Full-Color Starlight for a 24/7 colour image with TiOC 3.0 active deterrence. Thanks to the motorised zoom lens (2.7-13.5 mm), you can zoom in smoothly without loss of quality and adjust the viewing angle with ease.
What this camera does
The HDW3849H-ZAS-PV takes security to a higher level. The WizSense AI algorithm recognises people and vehicles, so you only receive relevant notifications. On detection, the camera activates an exclusive red/blue alarm light and an audio alarm of up to 110 dB, or plays your own sound recording: strong deterrence before anything happens. With two-way audio, you can address visitors or intruders immediately via the DMSS app. The smart dual illumination provides discreet infrared in the background and switches to warm white light when there is activity, for a crystal-clear colour image in the dark. Thanks to PoE installation and IP67 weather resistance, installation is simple and reliable, both indoors and outdoors.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card up to 256 GB fits in the camera. Handy for a single camera. If you want to look back further or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
