Complete package: the black DB41AB video doorbell plus a wireless DS1AG chime for indoors. This way you hear visitors without reaching for your phone, and you record locally without a subscription.
The VDKP01-BG combines the 4 MP Wi-Fi video doorbell with a chime that you simply plug into a socket. The doorbell connects to your 2.4 GHz network (Wi-Fi 6) and immediately sends a notification to your phone; the chime sounds in the house. You set the ringtone and volume via the free DMSS app.

Installation
Self-installation
Power the doorbell via USB (5 V) or your existing doorbell transformer (10-24 V DC or 14-24 V AC). Do you have an old mechanical chime? You disconnect it or bridge it. The wireless DS1AG chime simply plugs into a socket, without extra wiring. Pair both in the free DMSS app (iOS and Android) via Bluetooth and you are done. Mounting materials are included in the box.
Power supply
Recommended power supply
The chime works on a standard socket (230 V). The video doorbell works on USB or 12-24 V (DC or AC); no mechanical chime is connected to it, so all three of these power supplies are sufficient for the doorbell.
12V built-in adapter (1.5A)
Compactly concealed in the flush-mounting box. 1.5A is more than sufficient for the doorbell.

What is in the kit?
The black DB41AB video doorbell and the wireless DS1AG indoor chime, plus mounting materials, power cable and documentation.
How does the wireless chime work?
You plug the DS1AG into a socket (230 V) and pair it with the doorbell in the DMSS app. It rings as soon as the doorbell is pressed. You set the ringtone and volume yourself.
Can I use several chimes?
Yes. You can place multiple DS1AG chimes around the house, and the chime can be paired with several Dahua doorbells at the same time.
Do I need a subscription?
No. The doorbell records locally to a microSD card (up to 256 GB) or a Dahua NVR. There is no mandatory cloud subscription.
Does the doorbell work on 5 GHz wifi?
No, the doorbell and chime use 2.4 GHz (Wi-Fi 6). Make sure your router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network.
Is there also a white kit?
Yes, the VDKP01-WG with the white DB41AW doorbell, with the same specifications.
