Dahua PFW81642-A180 WizMind Panorama Camera
The Dahua PFW81642-A180 WizMind Panorama Camera delivers a 180° overview in a single seamless 16MP image. Four 4MP sensors are intelligently stitched together into one super-sharp panorama, so that a single camera covers entire facades, squares or wide retail spaces. Thanks to powerful IR illumination up to 30 metres and smart AI functions, you see what really matters, day and night. Solidly built (IK10/IP67) and flexibly powered via 12VDC, 24VAC or PoE+, this is the reliable choice for anyone who wants no compromise.
What this camera does
This panorama camera is designed to see more with fewer resources. One compact device replaces several separate cameras, saves cabling and reduces the risk of blind spots. WizMind AI helps you filter relevant events straight away, such as perimeter alarms and occupancy level/crowd density. The result: fewer false alarms, faster action and clear images when it matters.
- A 16MP total image from 4x 4MP sensors: a seamless 180° panorama with no gaps in your coverage.
- Clear night vision: built-in IR illumination up to 30 metres for sharp visibility in the dark.
- WizMind AI intelligence: perimeter protection (such as line crossing and area monitoring) and crowd density for measuring crowd levels and monitoring capacity.
- Robust reliability: IK10 impact-resistant and IP67 weatherproof for outdoor use and in demanding environments.
- Cost-efficient: replaces several cameras and saves installation hours, cabling and storage thanks to efficient video compression.
- Easy installation: powered via 12VDC, 24VAC or PoE+ (one network cable for data and power).
- Seamless integration: supports modern video compression (H.265/H.264) and is suitable for common recorders and management systems.
- Consistent image quality: wide dynamic range helps with challenging backlight, so details remain visible.
- Ideal for wide scenes: car parks, shopping streets, school playgrounds, warehouses and entrance areas.
- Discreet and professional design: fits neatly on a facade or mast and delivers a clean, uniform overview image.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and IK10 and is therefore made for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and feed the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with Dahua's free DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is provided.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
