The Dahua HFW7442H-Z4-X delivers 4MP detail with Full-Color Deeplight, so you keep a colour image 24/7. Thanks to the powerful 8-32 mm motorised zoom lens, you can zoom in directly on people, vehicles or number plates without losing sharpness. The WizMind AI recognises people and vehicles, so you only receive alerts that matter. With real-time push notifications via the app, flexible power supply (ePoE, PoE+, 12VDC or 24VAC) and local storage of up to 512 GB, this is a complete solution for any site or building.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 512 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage over a longer period or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
