Dahua HFW3649E-AS-IL 6MP WizSense Smart Dual Light Bullet 2.8mm lens
With 6MP resolution, smart dual light illumination and AI detection for people and vehicles, you get clear images straight away and fewer false alerts.
What this camera does
This camera combines top-quality imaging with smart functions that make a real difference. The Smart Dual Light switches automatically between unobtrusive infrared and powerful white light up to 30 metres. This gives you discreet visibility at night and immediate full-colour evidence when an event occurs. WizSense AI recognises people and vehicles and filters out noise such as rain, insects and moving branches. The result: fewer notifications, more relevant alerts. Thanks to Starlight and 120 dB WDR, details remain visible in low light and strong backlight situations. With H.265 compression you also save considerably on storage and bandwidth. A robust IP67 rating and metal housing ensure years of trouble-free operation, outdoors as well.
- 6MP ultra-sharp: 3288 × 1850 at 25 fps for sharp, detailed surveillance.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card up to 256 GB fits in the camera. Handy for a single camera. If you want to look back further or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
