Ajax FireProtect: original replacement batteries
Complete battery set for your Ajax FireProtect smoke detector: 2x CR2 as main power plus 1x CR2032 as backup. The same types as those Ajax supplies pre-installed.
The backup cell keeps the detector working while you replace the main cells, so your fire protection does not drop out. The Ajax app reports in good time when replacement is needed.

Frequently asked questions
Why two types of battery?
The 2x CR2 are the main power supply; the CR2032 is a backup that keeps powering the detector while you replace the main cells. This keeps your fire protection active.
Is this the same as the pre-installed batteries?
Yes, exactly the same types as Ajax supplies. This way you keep the manufacturer's stated lifespan of up to 4 years.
When should I replace them?
The Ajax app and Hub report a low battery in good time. Then replace them with this set (2x CR2 + 1x CR2032).
