How to replace the battery
Step by step according to the Ajax manual:
- Remove the detector from the SmartBracket mounting plate.
- Switch off the device.
- Undo the three screws and remove the back panel of the detector.
- Replace the battery with a new CR123A and observe the polarity.
- Put the back panel back in place and tighten the 3 screws.
- Switch the device on and check the battery status in the Ajax app. The status does not update immediately, but after the next ping (every 36 seconds by default).
