Smart switches for an upright cover frame
Touch panels (Buttons), the LightCore modules behind them, vertical frames and the covers, all in the vertical version.
You build a switch point from a LightCore and a Button panel in the colour of your interior. You mount the smart socket horizontally only; you will find it under Horizontal.

Assembling a vertical switch set
An Ajax switch point consists of two parts: the LightCore in the flush-mounting box and the Button panel over it.
For each switch point you choose the LightCore that suits your wiring and the number of channels, and then the panel in the colour of your interior. You place several switch points one below the other in one vertical cover frame. You mount the Ajax smart socket horizontally only; you will find it under Horizontal.

The components at a glance
Cores
The LightCore modules (1-gang, 2-gang, 2-way, dimmer, crossover) and the OutletCore. This is the part that does the switching.
Frames
Vertical cover frames of 2 to 5 positions to place several LightCores one below the other.
Buttons
The touch panels: the visible front in eight colours. SideButton on the outside, CenterButton for intermediate positions.
Covers
CoverPlate, CoverHolder and OutletCovers neatly finish off an unused position.

Frequently asked questions
Is the LightCore included with the panel?
No. You order the LightCore (the flush-mounted module) and the Button panel separately, so that you can combine them freely.
What is the difference from the horizontal version?
Only the mounting direction of the frame differs. The technology is identical. For a landscape frame, see Horizontal.
Can I place a socket in a vertical frame?
The smart Ajax socket is only available in a horizontal layout. In a vertical frame you fit LightSwitch switches.
Does this work without an Ajax alarm system?
The LightSwitch is a Jeweller device and works with an Ajax hub. Control and automation run through the Ajax app.
