Dahua HDW3649QM-S-IL 6MP Smart Dual Light Eyeball 2.8mm lens
The Dahua HDW3649QM-S-IL delivers 6MP detail, true-to-life colours in the dark and smart lighting that switches automatically. This compact “eyeball” camera is weather-resistant (IP67), easy to install with PoE and designed to provide security day and night.
What this camera does
The 2.8 mm wide-angle lens captures a wide scene with ease, ideal for a driveway, garden, shop floor or warehouse. Thanks to Full-color you can also see important details at night, such as clothing, number plates and faces. The Smart Dual Light technology combines invisible infrared illumination with warm white light that switches on when movement is detected. Result: unobtrusive surveillance when possible, extra visible light when needed. With WDR, difficult situations with bright backlight or shadow are rendered clearly, while H.265+ stores the video streams efficiently without unnecessary storage costs.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
