Dahua HDW5442TMP-ASE 4MP D/N IR 3-Axis Deeplight WDR Eyeball 3.6mm Lens
The Dahua HDW5442TMP-ASE delivers impressive 4MP images straight away, day and night. Thanks to Deeplight technology and powerful WDR performance, you see more detail in every scene, even in backlight or at dusk.
What this camera does
The HDW5442TMP-ASE combines a bright 3.6 mm lens with a sensitive 4MP sensor for clear, sharp images with natural colours. At night the camera switches to powerful infrared illumination, so you keep a clear view even in complete darkness. True WDR (120 dB) tames strong backlight and shadow, while smart AI functions reduce unwanted notifications by recognising people and vehicles. Thanks to 3-axis mounting, you aim the camera exactly where you need surveillance. This is an exclusive mix of value, reliability and ease of use, perfect for anyone who wants security straight away.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card up to 256 GB fits in the camera. Handy for a single camera. If you want to look back further or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
