Keep your M&C cylinder running smoothly with the spray from M&C itself
M&C recommends this cylinder spray for the maintenance of all its locks and cylinders. The fast-acting spray protects the cylinder, so that it keeps working smoothly and lasts longer. It suits every cylinder from our M&C configurator: Matrix 2, Color+, Minos, Matrix 3, Condor and Move.
Good to know: do not use ordinary oil, graphite or grease in an M&C cylinder. M&C is not responsible for damage to M&C locks and cylinders caused by other lubricants.
How to spray your cylinder
- Make sure the cylinder is free of visible dirt.
- Place the red plastic tube in the white nozzle of the can.
- Insert the tube into the keyhole and spray a small amount of spray into the cylinder.
- Also apply a small amount of spray to the key.
- Insert the key into the cylinder and turn it a few times so that the lubricant spreads evenly.
With normal use, M&C recommends spraying the cylinder every 6 months. How often it is needed depends on where the cylinder is fitted, the weather and how often you use it. Spray more often in dust, damp or frost, or if the key turns stiffly.
