Frequently asked questions
What else do I need?
A 2-wire switch in the meter cupboard and a 48 volt power supply for it. The switch provides both the signal and the power to the units.
Can I use my old doorbell wiring?
Often, yes. Two cores are enough and the polarity does not matter. Note the maximum distance of 50 metres between the switch and the station.
Why 4K decoding on an intercom?
Because you can also view your camera images on the indoor unit. With 4K decoding the image remains smooth, even with high-resolution cameras.
Can I combine it with an outdoor station from another brand?
Indoor and outdoor units from different brands rarely work together. Stick to a single system. If you already have an outdoor unit, let us know the type and we will check whether it fits.
