What this camera does
This smart dual-lens camera does the heavy lifting for you. The 8MP overview channel gives a wide, smooth 180° view without blind spots. At the same time, the 4MP PTZ channel automatically zooms in on movement or a target, so you see the right details immediately. The STARVIS CMOS sensor and Starlight technology provide a clear image in very low light. Smart Dual Light switches automatically between invisible IR and white light for a colour image when needed. With AI functions such as perimeter protection, auto-tracking and face detection, you filter out noise and receive only the notifications that matter. Thanks to active deterrence with a red/blue warning light and adjustable sound alarms, the camera also works preventively. All this in a weatherproof IP66 housing with TVS 6000V surge protection for maximum operational reliability, day in, day out.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP66 and is therefore made for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and wall plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
