Dahua HFW3849T-ZS-IL 8MP WizSense Smart Dual Light Bullet 2.7-13.5mm motorised zoom lens
So sharp, so smart and so reliable: the Dahua HFW3849T-ZS-IL delivers razor-sharp 4K images and automatically switches on extra light at night when it matters. With 8MP resolution, a powerful 5x motorised zoom and smart AI functions, this is a complete camera for any environment. The Smart Dual Light technology switches in an instant between discreet infrared and bright white light as soon as movement is detected. This way you always have clear colour images when you need them, without unnecessary light nuisance.
What this camera does
The Dahua HFW3849T-ZS-IL combines image quality with ease of use. The motorised varifocal lens zooms smoothly in and out, so the viewing angle can be matched precisely to the location. The sturdy IP67 housing withstands all weather conditions, while the built-in microphone picks up ambient sound directly. This is the Exclusief right mix of value, reliability and simplicity.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 512 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage over a longer period or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
