Ajax Systems presents LifeQuality, a smart air quality monitor that combines medical-grade measurement accuracy with professional security technologies. The device provides users with data on carbon dioxide pollution, temperature and humidity, and helps to automate devices based on these indicators.

The problem is therefore clear: poor air is detrimental to productivity. It has been tested in schools, offices and even on the space station. We saw it as a new challenge. LifeQuality is expressly designed for building a comprehensive air quality monitoring system. The monitor is equipped with an accelerometer, which indicates when the monitor is moved to another location. The SmartBracket mounting panel allows you to easily fix it to the wall in any room or office. LifeQuality runs for up to three years on one battery. You therefore do not need a power outlet at the place of installation.

Medical-grade measurement accuracy

LifeQuality is packed with sensors used in professional medical equipment. The Sunrise by Senseair is a non-dispersive infrared sensor that measures the carbon dioxide concentration directly. Unlike VOC sensors, this type of sensor provides current and accurate CO₂ data, regardless of pollutants in the air, such as aerosols and steam.

The SHT40 by Sensirion is an industrial digital sensor platform for measuring relative humidity and temperature. An integrated heating element provides on-board diagnostics, while the sensor element is designed for harsh conditions such as condensing environments. The SHT40 ensures an accuracy of up to ±0,2 °C.

However, the Ajax engineers went a step further and placed the sensor as far as possible from the electronics of the device. When LifeQuality is now used, the Ajax system displays the indicators for the parameters of the room using the most accurate data.

All the knowledge in one app

The air quality indicators are displayed in the Ajax app alongside the information on the security and automation devices. Thanks to the Ajax Cloud server, users of the security system have access to the data anywhere. The indicators are accompanied by graphs showing the history over a few days, a week, a month or even a year, which gives you a better understanding of how the air quality develops. System users are notified immediately by push notification of changes in the environment according to the thresholds set.

Thanks to the built-in memory, LifeQuality can be used to measure air quality in other places, for example in a garage, a nursery school or at the home of relatives. Even without communication with an Ajax hub, the monitor stores data for three days. Once the connection is restored, all data is uploaded to the hub and you can view it in the app.

In addition to the app, the LED indication on the device also reports the carbon dioxide concentration directly. A user only has to tap the Ajax logo. It lights up yellow, red or purple if the CO₂ concentration exceeds the set limit.

Automation for greater comfort

LifeQuality is part of the Ajax system and can therefore activate automation devices such as WallSwitch, Relay and Socket. This gives you a wide range of devices that can be switched on or off based on changes in the environment.

For example, Ajax will switch on the ventilation when the set threshold of CO₂ (carbon dioxide) is exceeded, or the heating when the temperature falls below the set value, or the humidifier when the humidity does not correspond to a pleasant level.

The automation scenarios can be set up on site and remotely in the Ajax app.

Security technology against invisible threats

LifeQuality combines all the best Ajax security technologies in a single air quality monitoring system.

Jeweller. The Jeweller radio protocol ensures secure communication over more than 1700 metres and is more reliable than Wi-Fi, Zigbee or Z-Wave. A radio signal range extender doubles this distance.

SmartBracket. A standard Ajax mounting panel that allows you to quickly mount LifeQuality on the wall or ceiling in any room or office.

Autonomy. The LifeQuality batteries last up to three years, so you do not need a power socket.

Accelerometer. Users and the security company receive a notification immediately if someone removes the device and moves it to another location.

Ajax Cloud is a reliable storage for system data and is accessible from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.
