Dahua HS4408-4ET-96 Industrial Managed 4x 100Mbps PoE 96W 4x SFP DIN Excl. power supply
The Dahua HS4408-4ET-96 is a robust industrial PoE switch for demanding network environments. With 4 PoE ports, 4 SFP uplinks and managed functions, this model is suitable for building a stable and flexible network.
What you can do with it
The Dahua HS4408-4ET-96 is a managed industrial network switch with 4 RJ45 PoE ports of 10/100 Mbps and 4 SFP uplink ports of 1 Gbps. The device offers Layer 2 functionality, VLAN, IGMP snooping, STP/RSTP/ERPS and SNMP management for reliable network performance in industrial environments. If you are looking for an industrial managed switch with PoE, fibre uplinks and high operational reliability, the Dahua HS4408-4ET-96 is a good choice. PoE Watchdog automatically restarts unresponsive ports, while surge protection, a metal housing and DIN mounting provide extra reliability in cabinets, production areas and outdoor enclosures.

Frequently asked questions
How many cameras can I power with this?
This switch has 4 PoE ports with a combined 96 W. Add up the power consumption of your cameras and stay below that figure. A standard bullet or dome camera uses around 6 to 12 W, while a PTZ camera or a camera with lighting uses considerably more.
Do I still need a power supply for each camera?
No. With PoE, power and data run over the same network cable, so you do not need a power socket at the camera. Only the switch itself is connected to the mains.
Which cable do I need?
Network cable of at least category 5e, installed as fixed wiring. For outdoor use or underground, choose a cable that is made for that purpose. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you decide.
