Which 12V power supply do you need?
Choose based on how many devices you power and how you install it. 1.5 A is sufficient for a single Ajax component; with the 5A version you can power up to four at the same time.

For which Ajax devices?
Ajax components with a 12 V terminal connection, such as StreetSiren and StreetSiren DoubleDeck, KeyPad TouchScreen, KeyPad Outdoor, Relay (7-24 V) and MotionProtect Outdoor (5-28 V). This way they run on a fixed power supply instead of (only) batteries. Always check the input range of your device.
How many devices can I connect?
Up to four devices at the same time via the four +/- terminals.
Install indoors or outdoors?
Install the adapter indoors; the powered component may be mounted outdoors.
Can I use this to power the Ajax DoorBell?
Yes. We also recommend the 5A version for powering the Ajax DoorBell via DC (12 V). If you would rather connect the DoorBell to AC, use the bell transformer.
