The Dahua IS4204-2GT-120 is designed for stable network connections in demanding environments. This industrial switch combines Gigabit performance with advanced management and a robust industrial design.
What you can do with it
The Dahua IS4204-2GT-120 is a Layer 2 managed industrial switch with 2 RJ-45 Gigabit PoE ports, 2 SFP ports of 100/1000 Mbps and 1 Gigabit uplink. The switch supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, Hi-PoE and 802.3bt, with a total PoE budget of up to 120W and a maximum of 90W on ports 1 and 2. This Dahua industrial switch operates reliably at temperatures from -40 °C to +75 °C and supports dual power input for power redundancy. With features such as VLAN configuration based on IEEE 802.1Q, LACP, IGMP snooping, DHCP functions and security via IEEE 802.1x and ACL, it is a strong choice for professional network management.

Frequently asked questions
How many cameras can I power with this?
This switch has 2 PoE ports with a combined 120 W. Add up the power consumption of your cameras and stay below that figure. A standard bullet or dome camera uses around 6 to 12 W, while a PTZ camera or a camera with lighting uses considerably more.
Do I still need a power supply for each camera?
No. With PoE, power and data run over the same network cable, so you do not need a power socket at the camera. Only the switch itself is connected to the mains.
Which cable do I need?
Network cable of at least category 5e, installed as fixed wiring. For outdoor use or underground, choose a cable that is made for that purpose. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you decide.
