Dahua S3220-16GT-240 16x PoE Gigabit Unmanaged Switch (240W)
The Dahua S3220-16GT-240 is a powerful PoE switch for stable network and power supply over a single cable. With 16 Gigabit PoE ports, 2 RJ-45 uplinks and 2 SFP uplinks, this model is ideal for IP cameras, access points and other PoE devices.
What you can do with it
This unmanaged switch is a professional Gigabit switch with integrated PoE power. It delivers data and power over 16 RJ-45 ports, while the 4 uplink ports provide flexible connection to the main network or fibre optic links. Thanks to its plug-and-play design, the Dahua S3220-16GT-240 is ready for immediate use. This PoE switch combines high capacity with additional operational reliability. Ports 1 and 2 support up to 90W for heavier PoE devices, while the PoE watchdog automatically restarts devices that have frozen. With 40 Gbps switching capacity, transmission of up to 250 metres in long distance mode and robust protection against overvoltage and lightning, this is a strong choice for professional network environments.

Frequently asked questions
How many cameras can I power with this?
This switch has 16 PoE ports with a combined 240 W. Add up the power consumption of your cameras and stay below that figure. A standard bullet or dome camera uses around 6 to 12 W, while a PTZ camera or a camera with lighting uses considerably more.
Do I still need a power supply for each camera?
No. With PoE, power and data run over the same network cable, so you do not need a power socket at the camera. Only the switch itself is connected to the mains.
Do I need to configure the switch?
No, you connect it and it does its job. There is no web interface in which you need to configure anything.
Which cable do I need?
Network cable of at least category 5e, installed as fixed wiring. For outdoor use or underground, choose a cable that is made for that purpose. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you decide.
