The result: clear detail, natural colours and reliable evidence, even in very low light. Thanks to WizMind AI, you receive fewer false alarms and more relevant alerts. What this camera does
This camera is made for those who want certainty. The Full-color Starlight technology with a large aperture captures more light, while the built-in LED only steps in when needed. The WizMind AI (deep learning) recognises people and vehicles, so you receive the right notification straight away. The camera is vandal-resistant and weather-resistant, lasts for years and can be used on existing cabling thanks to ePoE, up to 800 metres.
- 4MP resolution with Full-Color 2.0 Starlight: 24/7 colour images without grain and with clear detail.
- WizMind AI: smart detection with human/vehicle classification, tripwire and area intrusion for fewer false alarms.
- Warm LED supplementary lighting: switchable and adjustable, provides colour and extra visibility in the dark.
- Real-time push notifications via the DMSS app with snapshots for quick verification; easy arming and disarming.
- Fixed 2.8 mm wide-angle lens with a broad overview, ideal for an entrance, driveway, warehouse or shop floor.
- H.265/H.265+ video compression: save storage and bandwidth without loss of quality.
- Local recording on microSD card (up to 256 GB) and seamless integration with NVRs; ONVIF compatible.
- True WDR (up to 120 dB), 3D noise reduction and BLC/HLC for a crisp image in difficult lighting conditions.
- Robust design: metal housing, IK10 vandal-resistant and IP67 weather-resistant for indoor and outdoor use.
- Flexible power supply: 12VDC, PoE and ePoE, easy installation, also over long distances.
- ePoE distances (with ePoE switch/recorder, CAT5e/CAT6): up to 300 m at 100 Mbps, up to 800 m at 10 Mbps; PoE budget of 25.5 W (up to 200 m) decreasing to 7 W (800 m).

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card up to 256 GB fits in the camera. Handy for a single camera. If you want to look back further or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and IK10 and is therefore made for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and feed the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
