Fingerprint reader
A fingerprint module for the VTO4103 series. Residents enter with their fingerprint, without a card or code that can get lost.
What you can count on
- No card or code needed: your finger is always to hand
- Enrolled per resident: each fingerprint is registered separately
- Power supply via the main module: 5 volts, supplied by the adjacent module, so no connection of its own
- Aluminium: silver finish, IK07 and IP65
What to look out for
This module belongs to the VTO4103 series, which works on 2-wire hybrid. For the VTO4202 series there is a separate version with the same function. Check first which main module you have or are choosing.
The IP65 rating only applies once the housing has been sealed with silicone sealant during installation.

Frequently asked questions
Does it also work with wet or dirty fingers?
Less well. At a door used by people with working hands, a card or code is a more reliable second route.
Where are the fingerprints stored?
In the system itself, not with an external party. Bear in mind that this is personal data; record who manages it and how long it is retained.
Does this module need its own power supply?
No. The modules receive 5 volts from the main module via the small cables between them. You only connect the main module.
Is an enclosure included?
No. You choose the housing based on the total number of modules in your setup, and you order it separately. Let us know how many modules you have and we will find the matching one.
