Surface-mount box for the VTO3222
The box used to mount the VTO3222 on the wall. Required if the facade cannot be chased, for example with brick or concrete that you do not want to break open.
The box is fitted against the facade and the door station goes inside it. Outdoors, a rain cover is advisable: it keeps water off the front.
What you can count on
- On the wall: no chiselling or routing required
- For the VTO3222: made to fit this door station, not interchangeable
- Space for cabling: the cable exits behind the unit and stays out of sight
- Sold separately: the door station is not included
Sealing during installation
Seal the edges with silicone sealant during installation. If you do not, rainwater runs behind the housing and still reaches the cabling.
